Rosey assists when claims have been awarded medical benefits and financial compensation is applied for. She assists with gathering medical records, scheduling Impairment Evaluations and completing payment forms that allow the claimant to receive their compensation. Rosey can also answer many of the questions claimants might have.
In 2018, Amy saw there was a need for patient advocacy. Even though the program had been around for over 20 years, Energy Workers didn't know about the benefits that were available to them. Amy began helping the workers at Los Alamos National Laboratory file claims and fought the Department of Labor for medical and financial compensation. She began to grow to markets that had the same need, helping Pantex, Rocky Flats and eventually assisting Energy Workers from coast to coast. Often, Amy is traveling around the country meeting claimants in Northern New Mexico, West Texas, Denver, and throughout the southern states, but enjoys days in the office where she can create game plans and strategies working within the DOL guidelines that result in approvals for her claimants.
Sarah begins the claim process for our claimants. First time claimants can expect a call from her to get work information and learn the next steps. Whether it's the first claim or the 5th, she gathers the records, causation and employment information to file a claim and tracks it to approval. She can also answer many questions.
We also have a staff of behind the scenes employees diligently working to keep our office running smoothly. Tracking information, searching for evidence and keeping our claimants files up to date.
